Dr. Chen received his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington D.C., and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital.  Before joining PrimeCare in 2003, Dr. Chen was a licensed physician in Texas. He is practices internal medicine and is specialty board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

Patrick now lives in the Monterey Bay with his wife, son, three cats, and two dogs.  He spends much of his free time chasing his young son, an avid and precocious golfer.

He is a Founding Director of the MBIPA.
