Dr. Nuttal received hi M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He completed his internship and residency at the Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, San Diego. 

Following residency, Dr. Nuttal moved to Monterey, joined the medical staff at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and began his career in private practice.  His is specialty board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, practicing primary care internal medicine in Monterey since 1194. 

Dr. Nuttal is a founding director of the Monterey Bay Independent Physician Association.
